I was watching the race and had the pitting window open. On lap 17 as per my plan the green pitting light came on. My driver continued around the track doing another lap and I watched expecting to turn into pit lane but drove right past with the green light still on and ran out of fuel half a lap later!!!! Not happy I was 5th at the time and my season goal is to finish 5th or better this has seriously put this in jeopardy.

I guess next post here will be by Jack asking for a race ID. ;-)

I don't suppose you guys were in the chat box at the same time were you? There's been times I've been thinking I was typing out a line of chat, but wasn't actually clicked on the box. I've seen the pit light flick on and off during that time, so I'm assuming there's a keyboard shortcut (P?) to pit your selected car.

I've had te same problem too. I was actually leading a race, and my driver just drove past the pit lane with only 0.2litres in the tank.
And yes, I was in the chat box talking to my friends about just making it to the pit lane when the incident happened, Jason.

Not chating and I had a litre of fuel left as I sailed past pit lane :-(
So when the pitting light came on I had around 6 litres left.
