so in real life open-wheel race, the tire pressure, camber of entire wheel may impact performance, an sample can be found from Pirelli Motorsport’s latest post

the tire pressure can be measured by psi and the camber can be measured by degree (°)

furthermore, according to some YouTubers, some open-wheel car can change the toe angle (more description of toe can be found here). shall we add this function to let drivers able to change the toe angle of car?

Unlocking those function may requires to cost a specific amount of cash in game.

Thoughts?

It maybe good for later to add more depth to the game, but not anytime soon. Let's just focus on gameplay, small visual updates and especially thinking for more rules option in leagues.

The camber and tyre pressure is a pretty advances feature, which is not ideal for new and/or casual players. If we want the game to spread, this should not be implemented in the foreseeable future.

It sounds like a good idea, but the majority of players are casual and don’t even know what this is or means.

I’m thinking that this feature ONLY apply to pro/elite members in a league

While I'd love to get to those details I have to admit that this level of depth is too much for the general game, even for Elite. One day in a special mode maybe, but it'll require a lot of work because without the sim making use of the settings they'd be worthless and without a much more fleshed out practice sessions and feedback like how the tyre wears and temperatures of flanks and center, if the car tends to over- or understeer and so on we'd be quite lost setting up those things.

100% agree, the game is slowly getting better, we gotta fix the basics first

what if ONLY camber are able to adjust while we have MORE practising chances before a league race?

I do not see any benefit in camber adjustments in a mobile game, F1 2022 manager is out this summer for ps5 Xbox etc that will be a fully fledged feature rich which will have this option ?

Maybe in the future it would be pretty cool to add too Igp.

Unless we are going to make it the "IRacing of race managers"

Camber angle can be modelled quite simply, you just have a simple trade off between increased handling and increased wear. So the angle you set would basically be with the aim to use up all your tyre life by the end of the stint you want to run.

Toe could be a simple as a trade off between your car's Handling and Downforce characteristics.

Tyre pressure again isn't that hard, it's basically how well you heat up tyres at its most basic so would allow you to tweak the operating range of certain push levels of different tyres.

That being said I'd recommend these things as elite tier only and also make then an optional advanced section as part of league rules. Then people can decide what to do.

What would be pretty easy for the user just add downforce setting 1-10, pre race adjust and during the pit stops,  this would add an extra element of strategy and something else to actually manage other than tyre temps.

That wouldn't be hard to do, but if this is done I'd hope for a bit more than a rather simplistic slider to move bonus and malus points on the car stats around.
