Hi everybody,

I think that a way to improve the strategies and give less chances to the lucky/unlucky situations is moving the drs detection zones before pit stops areas in circuits like Japan and france, that you literally lose the DRS if the car in front of you make the stop.

Yeah. Not only that, maybe other tracks need some changes to DRS zones to improve or reduce overtaking. Btw, do you guys think there should be more than 1 DRS zone on tracks that has more than 1 zone in real life?

The DRS of tracks shouldn't be too uniform though. Managing should adapt to a track and not all tracks adapted to one type of managing, so as long as one car can manage to pass and not more than 2-3 fly by easily DRS is in acceptable strength. A no to 2+ DRS zones from me, with exception of some tracks with still stronger dirty air it's often hard enough to make an escape and gain that second using the remaining round and reducing that greatly by additional DRS zones it'd be impossible but for cases of a huge advantage in pace, weight and tyre. It'd be OK on like 3 tracks or so, because again variety, but not the main bulk.

Exactly, more drs zones will mean no chance to escape the drs train. It usually takes hard work to just open up the 1 sec gap in one lap.

Why do you start talking about multiple DRS zone? The suggestion was rejected because you derailed this thread. The first post says "moving". It was a good idea despite some tracks are not suitable (i.e. Canada).

One thing I would like to see is some kind of indicator ( red light/green light ) to show if you are/are not within DRS range of the car in front.

This could simply be a red or green light on the HUD somewhere... or what would be cooler is like a red/green radar wave thing similar to that of the red boost trail projecting from the front of your car ( only as you dont need to see others ).
