I started a race on intermediates, and pitted on 1st lap for hards, I then pitted after 23 laps for another set of hards. Therefore I used 2 tyre compounds, yet i got dq'd for not using 2 tyre compounds......cost me my 6th place in the race. Can this be resolved so that you do not get dq'd as I had still used 2 tyre compounds

Was there rain on the track during the race event? Looks like he also didn’t do strategy and the race was not wet and didn’t change tyres pre-start.

2-tyre rule: You will need to fit two different dry compounds during a dry race. If it rains at any point during the race, the rule will be automatically disabled. If a car doesn’t follow the rules it’ll result in an automatic Disqualification / DSQ on the results and any points scored will be deducted.

The race was totally dry, so two ‘dry’ compounds need to be run during the race.

two tire rule means two different DRY compound are required to use in a race.
in ur case, example: Inters-Hard-Medium-Medium

That's not correct as if it's wet during any point of the race the 2 tyre rule is abolished, if you have to put inters or wets and the track dries within a few laps you can use whatever dry compounds you want after.

It was a dry race so he didn’t use 2 qualifying compounds
