I usually do similar strategy for two drivers, so they end up doing double pit stop. Will that slow down the pit stop for the driver coming in late?

Simple answer... Yes.

You need about a five second gap between drivers if you want them both to pit on the same lap without the driver behind losing time. Better that you stagger the stops by a lap.
