In races with no refuelling you often want to change pit strategy sometimes pitting early sometimes later. When you pit later than your strategy you have to cancel pits every single lap. If you decide to drop a stint then you can be cancelling 20 laps. Forget once in heat of the race and you pit. Can we make the cancel pits in no refuel race, permanent, cancel once and you don't pit until next stint or you manually call pits.

I don't know if an option to change the length of the stint would work better but yeah something would be good. It can be annoying.

I agree this would be a good idea.
A work around if you are attending the race... In the strategy set each stint to the total number of race laps. Then all you have to do during the race is tell the driver when to pit.
It does have a downside (as I know from experience), if you forget to tell them to pit they'll stay out. But it's easier to remember to tell them to pit once than remembering to cancel a stop every lap for multiple laps.
In any case if your suggestion were to be implemented (cancel once and they run until the end of the race) you'd still have to remember to pit them.
