Refuelling Mid Stint

Does anyone know what happens when you pit mid stint in terms of fuel added?
Does it just add the fuel on top of what is already in the tank or to the total that you have on the live manager bar.

It will bring it to the level you have set it to fill to.

So if you have 20l in the tank and your instructions are to have 40l it will add 20l.

It wont bring it to 60.
