I filled a note box til it said "1 character left". I saved and had to realize, the text is missing its final 14 characters!
Entering edit mode again it says "15 chararcters left", which is *not* true.
By editing and saving a couple of times, it seeems to be that newlines are to blame. JS is condering them as a single char. In DB they seem to take 2 chars (or whereever the chars are counted and text gets truncated).
