Just a no to that one.  If you are savvy enough with the boost button (energy does not get recovered in this game) then you can use it to your advantage to get up to DRS trains, for example...

removal of kers, it interferes too much with the races

I mean... It's one of the two key points of racing... I see no point in removing this. There is already very little interaction possible during the races and boost management is a key ingredient of racing.
