Infinite engines, but when the counter resets you will have 10 engines for 20 races (for each car). You can buy 300 engines but they will reset to 10(1 car league)/20(2 car league) engines when the 20 races expire.

I'm not sure this is quite correct.
I was of the opinion that the free engine issue is capped. Every 20 races you will receive a maximum of 10 engines for 1 car leagues and 20 for two car leagues.
As an example, for a one car league, every 20 races you will receive sufficient free issue engines to bring your stock level to 10. So if you have zero engines in stock you will receive 10. If you have 3 engines in stock you will only receive 7 and if you have 10 or more engines in stock you won't receive any. But importantly you will not have any of your stock removed.
So if you are are rich enough to have purchased 300 engines you will receive no free issue engines but you will keep your stock of 300.
