TLDR: Why am I receiving fewer reputation points for beating tougher competition?

I was over-leveled in Rookie league earning 30 reputation points for a win. I was promoted to pro league and am 2 levels under the previous pro champion(promotion was disabled), have lower leveled drivers, and through sheer strategy I was able to pull off on of the most difficult wins I ever had to fight for. I only got 10 reputation points for that and am falling down the Hall of Fame standings even when doing the best I possibly can(a 1-2 with inferior drivers, cars, and facilities).

Is this a glitch or does Hall of Fame/Reputation have nothing to do with a managers result compared to their competition like I had previously thought?

The reputation points depend on the number of opponents, the average reputation of your opponents and how many races you have.

In your case, you were in a full rookie tier but now there are 8 players in pro tier. Anyway the algorithm is broken...

I won 28 of my first 29 races against 5400+ opponents and I never went above 5150 due to the fact that I race twice a week.

I set my personal best when I joined a league having 5 races per week.

Who races everyday and in two car leagues have an advantage in the hall of fame. Nobody can say who is the best player. I'm sure that people in top 100 could lose against people who race once a week and maybe who is strong in 50% races could be a bad player in 100% races.

I think there will never be a perfect reputation algorithm.
