Currently theres a 4 man up to pro and 4 man up to elite assuming above 16 membership in a league as standard but most leagues struggle with both maintaining a strong pro league and also sometimes keeping those in pro interested with strong competion since that is mostly just found in Elite.

This usually results in of the 4 people promoting to pro from rookie maybe 1 maybe 3 will become inactive either before their promotion to pro though will still have the points so will promote into pro regardless or during pro This means that eventually these inactive will be kicked by the league host or automatically after many days by the automatic system, so of the 4 maybe 2 are actually contributing to bump the number to 16 but since the promotion to elite is the exact same number it means Pro is forever in a state of flipping around 15 member and promotions being turned on and off. The only exception to this are extremely strong leagues where they have an Elite demotion but generally being demoted from Elite is a sign of inactivity and if not I'd assume the member will just lose motivation in the league and stop playing that league or the game.

The possible solution is to increase the number of promotions from Rookie to pro while maintaining the pro to Elite at 4 so Pro has a input then its output. Obviously to counter this it would mean that should pro be too large the deomotions would similarly be larger but thats not a problem. Whether this is doubled to 8 or even just to 6 it would mean that pro has a greater chance of carry multiple interested players into pro and should some leave like is nautral there was a stronger influx then like is the case currently to make that tier fun. Eventually this should hold player interest into elite making the league as a whole at all levels more healthy.

I agree, in general there's a huge amount of inactive players in rookie and pro, moving more people would certainly help.

I don't think new players get a good impression of the game, in my opinion there should be another system to help them grow.

In 90% of leagues id say Pro is a dead tier so you could maybe say remove it and just keep with the 2 tiers but thats probably too drastic especially if it leads to level 8s going against level 20s but this simpler change in promotion number would be a much easier change to impliment I'd imagine and more easier to predict the results for helping leagues and increasing the potential fun in Pro

I agree pro needs to go or allow us to promote manually at a specific level.

As a Pro Manager who is hardlocked at pro because only me and another manager are inactive, I think that yes changes need to be made. I see two changes, 1. Is get rid of pro completely, this could cause a experience imbalance, or 2. Make getting out of Rookie harder so that it atleast balances out somewhat the competition in Elite. I also like the suggestion of allowing league owners the ability to promote members who they seem fit.

Currently the tier system isn't working. In many leagues the Rookie and Pro tiers are filled with inactives, so an active team only has to set up to win and gain promotion.

This results in the situation where relatively inexperienced players at L10 find themselves in Elite with little hope of even finishing on the same lap as the winner.

Removing the Pro tier completely won't fix this. Instead it would be better to set a minimum level for promotion. Maybe use the levels that are currently used to trigger ballast.

Holding active managers in lower tiers until they reach a high enough level to be competitive would hopefully see more active Rookie and Pro tiers.

For those teams that become Rookie or Pro champions but don't promote because of level cap the reward could be a whole bunch of XP which allows them to level up more quickly.

Agreed, set minimum levels for each tier and allow manual promotion once eligible

This has been suggested by me and other managers on so many occasions and gets ignored by the devs and criticised by some experienced managers who like to create new teams and complete in Elite Leagues with a lower level team.

I also think Rookie should be scrapped and replaced by beginner leagues which are auto hosted and new managers are automatically placed into one at random when you set up a team  (similar to Golf Clash) you just choose time and race distance.  The reason for this is that currently managers get promoted too quickly and then leave once they hit the reality of Elite.  Allowing hosts to manually promote wouldn’t help this as there have been a few posts where some hosts wnt to promote managers as low as 7-9 to Elite.

There would also need to be improved tutorial/guides that enable players to learn the game and if they like it continue to Elite.  Once you reach the required level, say 16, you would be free to join the Elite league of your choice.

Of course none of the above would impact on the current way private leagues operate.
