With the update the Drs is more important than ever as you can push the tyres past the cliff and not loose time due to drs, pulling out a nice lead is useles. It doesn't pay to be fast, I had my sizable lead destroyed by the cars behind using drs. And I know before you say it, why don't  you do the same or its part of the strategy, it isn't and it shouldn't work like that. You should have a greater benefit to being the lead car. Here's are a few ideas I think you can make it better.
I like the idea of rechargeable kers instead of a 0-100 which you can give shorts bursts.
Increase speed for lead car
Reduce drs
Increase drag
Increased tyre wear in dirty air
Please don't come at the comments (Kevin) and start giving negative comments like it's been said before or its a stupid idea or race better, these are just some ideas I think will make it better and was wondering if the Devs are thinking of have their own ideas on this. Thank you for reading.

Lead car? Bruh...

I support the re-introduction of dirty air... I am a lvl17 player competing against lvl19-20 players... I somehow make a good start and reach p5-p6 and create a sizeable gap to cars behind of around 2-3 seconds... But they form a DRS train which basically helps them catch up to me... When i pit early to undercut them.. The DRS train again plays spoilsport and i end up behind them after their pit stops... I know performance levels are different but this isn't just because of performance... The DRS train pretty much drags along a bunch of 4-5 players along... Anyone who falls out of the train then has a much slower race pace.

You struggling to understand? Bruh... It means the car in P1, the car in the lead, the car at the front of the pack, ?

I wouldn't change how DRS/drag works but I would change how low push levels save tyre and fuel.

This is how I Imagine a change: you create a little gap, you notice the DRS train and change the push level. In 2/3 laps you save 3/4% of tyre wear and this means a softer tyre in last stint or better tyre conditions during last laps. Below 75% the new tyres are losing performance.

We had dirty air and managers complained about DRS trains.

It was removed and managers  complained about DRS trains

We now have partial dirty air and managers  still complain about DRS trains.

Managers demanded no refuelling since they claimed it was realistic.  Now they claim it is boring.

Managers wanted a tyre rebalance now they complain they can’t use the same tyre and stint strategies they used before and not get the same results.

Amending one aspect of the game doesn’t provide a quick win.  It has to be considered holistically as everything is interdependent on each other

You haven’t even maxed your driver stamina and wonder why your driver can’t keep up!  Stamina impacts on Health.  Low driver health impacts on performance.

Do you know why that is? I do. There hasn't been a successful update in many many years, if we actually got what we wanted we wouldn't complain ?

True, but sometimes be careful what you wish for.  I bet if everyone was surveyed as to what they want and how to change it would be so conflicting it would be impossible to implement.

My point is not that things shouldn’t change and be improved for the benefit of the game. It’s more a reflection of the way there is a lot of noise to change one aspect of the game without thinking through the implications of doing so.

In a way iGP have tried to please managers too much by reacting to what they think they need rather than deciding what needs to be improved themselves.

Very true. I think it’s gotten the point where updates should just be rolled out according to how the game company wants instead of pandering to everyone.

You either play or you don’t.

Simple.

Yeah, been saying it years ago. On elite lvl Igp is more Indycar like rather than F1. And I'd prefer it to be more like F1 obviosly

No this is wrong, we the players decide what we want or we won't play it and there won't be a game left to play. The problem is what we asked for never ever gets implemented properly. Example safety car. Awesome! But the is zero random factors in the game for it to come out so absolutely pointless and a waste of time. Tyre balances are forever been incorrect, don't get me started on Hard Tyres lol  same for dirty air. So the idea we have are excellent and will 100% improve the game that's a fact, we just simply are not getting the right balance. We don't need 3D in a strategy game although it is a nice touch for the future.
The basics and fundimentals are missing sadly, but the cliff update is a good step forward albeit 6 years late ? I've no doubt everything will be balanced eventually and we will have great racing, I just hope is not too late when that happens.

Ohh i didn't realise that... I'm glad you pointed that out bro?.. I will level my drivers stamina asap... But my issue wasn't about not being able to keep up... It's regarding how I often get chased down by a pack of cars which are in a DRS train... Once i get into the pack I can keep pace with them... But unfortunately my strategy doesn't allow me to stay in the pack any longer because tyre wear/fuel strategy

PS: As for the low health... I train my driver fully right after the race and leave it alone once the time left for next race is under 18hours... So i do every race with minimum of 90% health

I think you are missing understanding what I said.  Unless your stamina is 20 you will lose too much health and too quickly in the race so you will be slower. Stamina is the first stat you have maxed.
