I don't understand why there are 4 tyre options in the game when in f1 there are 3. I think the orange tyre should be removed like in real f1, and keep only the real tyres. In high tyre wear tracks, there can be C3, C4 and C5. On low wear, C1, C2 and C3 if possible . Or just to have C2, C3 and C4 for all tracks.

I don"t understand why you don't understand that this game is about generic Formula racing, not F1...
This game doesn't need such changes, its problems lies elsewhere.

I agree with this, more choice is better right?.

I respect your opinion, but orange tyre is also the reason everyone is angry at 1 stop or 0 stop strategies. You can just put 2 hards and finhsh the race. When everyone else goes for 3-4 stop strategies. Just search in the forum and you will find thousands of people talking about less stop strategies.

Because they use 5 types of tires C5, C4, C3, C2, C1, but only three are selected for the race

You can just put 2 hards and finhsh the race.

well technically some leagues will use two tire rule so that case may not happen.

Why take away an option? More options, more strat variances, right?

Maybe you meant to "add more tires"?

What’s the point of deleting a tyre? Strategy will be messed up then.

no, if more options, it would be more confusing, like this one published by Pirelli in 2018:

Yeah I understand but I think you can’t say at this point it’s too confusing, is it?

I vote ultra soft! Only because I love that colour ?
Serious note: they can't even get the tyres we have correct, it would be a right mess if we added more!

I actually disagree with you Dario, it’s always a hard thing to do, balance tyres. We now have 3 compounds I use on a regular basis plus the hard tyre coming in every now and then, that’s a lot better then before when hard tyre was never used

If it were balanced toward hard tyre, supersofts would become useless, so it’s a balancing thing and I quite like the current balance

You are right, the tyre situation is very good now except the SS they just need a tiny bit more durability by 1-2 laps, my only problem was the amount of years it took to finally get them all viable, but I do understand it's not an easy task, for me it was the basics and most critical part of this game. But yeah I've won a race with Hard tyres since the new update so all's well that ends well and hoping for more choice to add even more different strategies would be awesome. Ps. I want pink tyres please to match my car ?

interesting thread, obv we have thought abt they're being more than 3 dry tyres but i feel like its nice keeping SS because you can undercut nicely and put on harder tyres and then you can either put them on to the end or switch it up. nice way to switch things up w strat. and besides I've been in leagues where they are tyres rules and strat regulations

My reply was not about how the tires work in this game, nor the strategies, rather about the evergreen "in F1 it's work in this or that way" or "It should be like in F1". If you want changes toward that direction it's ok, but bear in mind this is a generic Formula game, not a F1 game.

If you want a F1 game there are plenty of games that claims to be based on the most famous Motorsport.
