Hi,
No idea where to post this so just stuck it here.
I have just raced in Austria where it is 6 degrees COLD, So due to tyre wear I set up for 5 stops (ss s s s s s) but somehow Mediums end up being the better/faster tyres.
How is this possible in 6 dergree cold?
Igp logic is dumb

Hi Stephen,
It seems you were on the wrong strategy.
Apart from tyre wear, there are other aspects of the game you need to take into consideration when deciding on your race strategy. Such things include:
Pit stop time for the track
Power/effect of drs
Anticipating what your opponents might do, strategy wise.
It's unfortunate you chose a 5 stopper at Austria, a track where drs trains are powerful. Your SS-S may have been quick, but you would lose out due to the train and amount of pit stops you did.
Yes some aspects of the game may seem illogical, that is totally fine, it's a game after all.
If you are struggling, I'll suggest you go to the guides section, there are some invaluable resources there if you take your time to go through.

Velocity is also a no refuelling league so minimising pit stops gives a big advantage and SMMM was logical strategy for the winning teams to use.
