Low L, high T driver wanted

I'm looking for a young driver with talent 15+ and preferably level 7 or lower. Can't seem to find any, but guys in my league managed to do so.

I'm looking for a young driver with talent 15+ and preferably level 7 or lower. Can't seem to find any, but guys in my league managed to do so.

Driver levels are based on the level of the manager. At level 7, talent 15 will look like 6 stars and won’t show up in the transfer menu (no one will give away a young driver like that any way). The only way I can see them acquiring such driver is though the drivers academy in the hq screen (you will have to upgrade it multiple times before you start seeing talent 15+). There is a chance that people will give one away but from what I see it is rare.

Thanks for the response. Makes sense what you are saying but yet somehow there is this guy in my league. He is also level 7 but has one talent 20 and one talent 17 driver. The talent 20 one won the last 3 races. I don't have an idea how to compete with that. I have one talent 9 driver but he costs me more than both his drivers combined per race.

Yes, you are going to struggle against this team. Not only does he have T20 and T17 drivers, he also has all three staff at the same level as the team (actually the TD and Dr are one level higher) which will maximise next season start design, maximise research for this season and speed up driver training.

Neither driver has ever been in another team which means they have not been transferred from a high-level primary account.

My guess is you're up against a secondary account of an experienced player who either has deep pockets, a lot of luck or possibly a little of both.

The T20 driver may have been an "Epic Driver" special offer. The T17 was only generated a few days ago and with luck or spending many tokens could have been generated from a L7 driver academy.
