The idea to have a weather warning before it starts to rain. where it tells you about retirees, and pitstop times. A gentle reminder there that rain could appear within X amount of time.

Like this idea especially bc in the original Motorsport Manager for mobile (the one from 2014) there were consistent weather updates which really help with strategy

Dark Sky provides all this info already, including real time radar for each track.

That reminds me...Since Dark Sky is going away as the in-game weather forecast provider, I wonder who/what will take its place. Have not heard anything on that front lately.

Not the best example since that was scripted and simulated, it isn’t real-life weather.

The Dark Sky API and website will continue to function until March 31st, 2023. So we’ve still a lot of time to take a decision.

Not sure it’s necessary for in-game announcements about impending changes to impending weather.  Feels like another suggestion to dumb things down, but just my opinion.

I am aware Motorsport Manager is just scripted behind the scenes, I'm just using it as an example.

Thanks José for clarifying better

Dark sky isn't that accurate though, even recently at the Singapore GP I was watching the live qualifying on TV, they were going out on slick tyres at the end, my next race here was at Singapore and it was showing rain and still 3.3mm of water on the track at the same time, far from real time, and hardly accurate.

It’s real time weather with a delay of about 15mins

I downloaded an app called MyRadar, and pinned each iGP track location in the app, so as to be able to see the current radar at each track. Yes, there is about a 10 minute delay, like Dark Sky, but you can clearly see any weather that is moving in and from what direction, as well as intensity. So if Dark Sky's forecast is calling for rain, I check MyRadar app before the race.

Thanks, José, for the updated info.

It's an app on my Android phone. It's also available in the apple store. Here's the website: https://myradar.com/
