 Is this allowed?

In Hungary I was running an alternate strategy with all 4 of my drivers, 2 stops rather than the 3 of my rivals, and mid race they had made 1 more pit than me. Just after the 3rd and 4th best got out of the pits my 2nd driver was put on PL1 despite making their tyres cold, and I used KERS every time they tried to get me on DRS. This strategy, in the end, cost my driver 2 points but my main driver got a podium and gained 5.

So....

Is this allowed?

Clearly it's racing. Why would it not? it's called stratagey aswell just being a bit smarter than the other guys. Oce agan this is racing it's competition ffs James ofcourse it's alowed.

Talking to yourself is ok, it's when you start answering back that it becomes a little worrying ;-)



If both drivers are in the same team then it's strategy, if you're using one team to block for another then it's unsporting imo.

100% with I B.. If you are running them as 2 different teams with their own objectives, then that is ok (As long as the rest agree) but to use 4 cars as 1 team, slowing someone up with team 2 to help team 1.. no, that isn't fair or right..

I had 2 teams and swapped them over every few seasons.. Take one out for a little while and then when you bring the 2nd team back, it's fun finding your feet with them again. :)

Well, I held them up with my driver on the same team, so that is OK. But, I dont see how it isn't okay to do the other. My whole purpose in my Jr team is to have a team which I can use in every other season in elite (due to the design loophole to do with that) but if they are technically my team, they should be just as allowed as Laci was. It's not as if their whole point is to aggravate people better than me :)

I think most managers will feel that you should only have one team in a tier of a league. If you have your stuff together, it's realy not needed to consider design issues or whatever reasons that might keep you from fighting for points or titles.

I have my team in order and my drivers as I want them to be. My design thoughout the season is thought out so that I don't need to have a 100% car from the start to fight for podiums and wins and and manage to catch up fairly quickly and with that still can go for championship wins.

Just having one team also gives more people the chance to compete instead of having just a couple of managers running multiple teams.

Look at Magyar F1; around 5 people own 2 teams. I would not be able to compete for points therefore with a single team. And if I was ever to become good, there would be no way I could fight for the title anyway :/ Also, managing 2 drivers alone can be a little boring, it kinda livens up the show for me :)

Why wouldn't it be possible James? If I look at the managers rankings, I'm fighting against the 5th, 27th, 37th and 48th ranked manager in the league I'm in with me in 2nd. That makes it even more competitive than Magyar F1.

The only way I got that high in the first place is to be consistent. Despite the fact people sometimes try to win with 100% cars, I consistently don't and so far I'm on a 7 championship streak. Also most of them gave up the 100% car way as I managed to beat them.

That should be the spirit, try beating them and prove them otherwise. :)

At least that is how I feel about it.

At least that is how I feel about it.

I bet none of those people even use 2. Trust me, it looks a massive advantage which loads of people use in the league.

All single teams. But everyone their own way but I rather compete to 15 managers than just half of that. :)

Just trying to say that because everyone is doing it one way, it has to be the only way.

I cant compete in a league with 1 team if the others use 2. You can because everybody uses 1. End.
