Under advanced strategy options I'd like to see the ability for managers to adjust stint length and number of pits under the condition of a wet track.

Dry pit strategy is often very different than wet strategy since tire wear is so much different between a wet and dry track

Nice.
I totally agree with this suggestion. There should be a separate wet stint setting.

On a practical note, there are a so many weather scenarios, rain yes/no? water on track yes/no? if yes how deep? The weather can change muliple times during the course of a race, etc. so the logic and coding behind what appeaers to be a simple suggestion would be staggeringly complex and AS would need a screen all to itself.

If you want to prescribe a totally different race strategy depending on weather conditions you would also need different user interfaces to cater for refuelling and no refuelling races. With refuelling you need to specify the tyre compound and amount of fuel to load at the pit stop whereas no refuelling you would need to specify tyre compound and stint length in laps.

This suggestion will not benefit the majority who attend and manage the race because these players can adjust strategy "on the fly" from within the race screen. So the only people who benefit are those who set up but don't attend the race and I have been reminded on a number of occasions by IGP Staff that the game is aimed at those who attend and manage live races.

So given the complexity of a solution and the resources required to code and properly test such an enhancement my guess is that this suggestion is unlikely to be approved.

Personally, I would be happy if they would just spend a bit of time sorting out and explaining the current AS so that we all know what to expect from it.

Very informative Kevin, your bit about IGP catering to managers attending live races about says it all and prob explains why auto wet settings are so primitive.   The way it is right now certainly encourages me to adjust my personal schedule and make sure I show up to adjust live for wet races.

Isn't it easier to be online? If you don't want to play online, there are leagues that play in offline mode, where the conditions are the same.

The only change I want to see is, W for x-amount of mm and INTERS for x- amount of mm, this would ensure I would be on the correct tyres

Online is always an advantage for sure but due to my personal schedule I will never be able to log into every race. As is right now, not logging in during a wet race is a death sentence.
Adding an auto wet track strategy option would help to be competitive during a wet race you can't log into.

Kevin, considering that you have a lot of history about race (as you explaind me the situation of free practice and after it I understand where there was my mistake ). I will ask you to explain how actual advanecd works... because there are some "unclear sceniorios" that are not predectible.

Your answer here "game is not maden for offline" is not acceptable!
As i wrote in its post (advanced in a nutshell) there are some good suggestions to how set strategy and advanced 1 to reduce problems in qualifications (that are 100% offline).
However there is actually some problems with advanced  2 also in qualifications and this should be easy solved if qualifications will be "freezed" for all drivers.

Don't you think?

During the race There are Also some "discrepancies" with advanced one that are not logical because advanced  one works differently with different tyre and this is not "normal" .
Don't you think?

This answer is acceptable and factually correct. Whilst I understand not everyone can attend every race but the game is meant to be played... Baffles my mind why people play this game and never attend races then complain about it.

When you will have a social life, committments and/or a job without established working hours, you will understand.

This isn't a game that you play when you want. There are fixed hours where races start.

Pick a race time to suit...or don't play ?

Sorry, but you don’t seem to understand the difference between offline racing and not attending races in a live league
