I think it would be much better if not only the client, but the supplier could terminate the contract as well (if he wouldn't like to take him a good engine or he would like to give them for somebody another), and the another: you could set how good (% of your) engine would you like to give him like in the real life.
Thanks

It's good that I saw your suggestion first before creating another thread about the same idea.

Manufacturers should defenitely be able to both choose their clients by lets say adding an "accept" button when someone requests to buy your engine (instead of just letting anyone buy an engine without any kind of accept from the manufacturer) and to terminate the contract from the manufacturer's side because right now it's impossible to get rid of the client team besides somehow forcing them to choose another engine.

I'm definitely onboard with this idea! The % engine sounds like Renault to Red Bull (jk, not a conspiracist), and I think there should be a minimum to that if it ever happened. Also we should allow more than 1 customer in future

I was about to come and suggest the same thing.

I have a customer I don’t want at the moment and would like to free it up for another customer but i can’t. As manufacturer, I should be able to.

Can manufacturers have the rights to decide who can be their customers?
We can't even choose who to become our customer because they can easily purchase the engine without manufacturer's permission. And that's my current condition. A stranger I don't know and also not in my league became my customer then I can't provide my engine to the managers in our league because there's only 1 customer slot for me right now.
To be honest, anyone can occupy the slot once they can get into a manager's profile page and manufacturer can't even cancel the contract. This really need to be solved.

Hello managers,

Suggestion noted, we will decide in the coming weeks whether or not to introduce it. Thanks!

Let engine manufacturer have saying in who can use his/her engine.

If someone wants to use my engine, have to apply and I can let him buy my engine. Or I don't want anyone to use it for example.

If you do that then you won’t make any money as an engine supplier.
Just let customers buy your engines and the money.

In short-sighted vision, yes, but why should I take the time to develop an engine for a competitor in my league who I am fighting against to get the benefits of it?

I’m happy to have customers, but I want them to be my decision. Right now I have an inactive rookie hogging the space. It’s very irritating.

Exactly. I've payed 100 mil + 10 tokens to be manufacturer. then to get to normal engine lvl for all races around 100-110 tokens

And you think 1 mil from my league rival for that engine is ok?

Hello managers,

As mentioned previously by me, we'll introduce this feature in the future.

Love the idea! Also, if the manufacturer can tune the performance up or down, then the engine cost should also move with that.

It'd be unfair, in my opinion, to sell a less powerful version of my own engine to my customers without a change to its sale price.

You can change it already now as well!

I think The customers will choose the best value for money, so it's better for the suppliers to give lower price or the customers won't choose theirs, but I don't think it would have to be automatic by the game...
