It’s not 1st April is it? Just checking ?
No. Just fell foul of maximum title length.
I wasn’t joking about the title Barry, but the content, sorry ?
Think of it this way. How many
racing teams have dieticians?
Think of it this way. It’s a game for entertainment.
Most people play on mobile devices and I would guess at least 50% either:
1. would not understand the complexities of this (you only need to see the amount of questions about the introduction of a simple BMI with green, amber, red indicators to make it super easy)
2. have any interest in designing diets for their drivers
One has to ask what would be the benefit of adding it or how it would improve the enjoyment of the game?
Yes. This idea would more than likely be for the more die hard players here, I do not deny this. It will give the people whom like the strategy side of the game more to play with as well. It is a bit boring, having all drivers in a league at the same level, especially in elite tiers, where the use of push levels and the boost button dictate race winners all of the time.
This idea is, in my opinion, a simple extension from the use of BMI, as poor use of diet can heavily increase or decrease that measure easily. It will also make BMI a more important and long term thing to have to control over a driver's career. Just setting a drivers BMI once over a career isnot exactly realistic.
Also, we could, maybe use diet to help make older drivers more competitive.
So to improve this idea and take heed of your concerns. Maybe we can also introduce the option to have a staff dietician, have the team doctor be able to dictate diet, or be able to dictate diet as a team manager. Said dietician will be set up like any other staff member and if your drivers are in training or getting older, you will need a higher level dietician or doctor to give reasonable results. Or you could play the strategic game and work all of this out for yourself.
