It may have been mentioned before so you'll just hear it again. There needs to be a permanent Pit Cancel. Like hold it for say 3 seconds and it deactivates for good, or double click it (or triple just in case).

I'll also add this:
the 2-tyre rule we had before it was an option was to penalize those that didn't bother to do setup. If they come online sometime during the race they can change their compound to avoid the penalty.. but the game sets 2 compounds now by default thus not prompting people to do their setup and still doing a full race while not being online. Ideally it was supposed to be a Host option to award the penalty, not do the setup for them.
