Another spotballing session from me...

How about allowing the use of 25% - 50% of car development points per race, towards fine tuning an in house engine.  This would help managers whom do not want to, or cannot afford to spend a lot of irl cash on engine development.
This would be an option in the custom engine screen and would not need to be deployed if not needed by a manager.
