So in our league, we have no refuelling and to make wet races more interesting, we have a rule where we still have to use 2 tyre compounds (min 5 laps), so means using inters for 5 laps usually. This ensures 2 stop races at least.
The problem we have is that, if people have advanced set up on, they go onto wets and stay on wets as it ignores the strategy they’d earlier picked, and then they end up winning/scoring points as always on wets. The only way around this with advanced set up is to have it set to onto inters, but this would mean they’re uncompetitive.
If they then don’t use advanced set up, they cannot change their fuel load and reduce it, therefore can’t be competitive either.
So I think it would make sense if the fuel load is moved from the advanced set up onto the normal strategy bit?
