I feel that there's room for improvement when it comes to cosmetics in this game, especially when it comes to providing some extra incentive to achieve certain accomplishments - Here are a few suggestions that may help with that.
New Cosmetics
- A bronze/silver/golden medal that displays next to your name in places like the in game chat, forums, and standings if you've placed top three in the most recent championship you've participated in. This could have a R/P/E in the center of it to signify whether or not the medal was achieved in Rookie, Pro, or Elite.
- Custom frames (different colors, maybe some art) around your profile picture that you can equip upon acquiring. This could be done as a reward for some achievements, since to my knowledge there aren't any rewards for completing achievements.
Paint Schemes
- Paint schemes with a set color scheme, that can be acquired through achievements.
- Some schemes that cost money to buy (skins in games like Fortnite sell well, maybe it could work in iGP Manager?).
Achievements
- Adding more achievements directly related to performance, like reaching Pro/Elite, scoring points in Pro/Elite, etc.
- Making every achievement have some kind of award, even if its very small. It'd likely be best if they were cosmetic awards, like the ones mentioned above.
Even if these specific ideas aren't practical/good, I think it'd be good to have some sort of cosmetics update, as most of the cosmetics in the game currently (besides paint schemes) are rarely seen in game, like the face of your driver. It could be a good way to motivate newer players to keep pushing forwards on the long path to being competitive in Elite, and may help the game earn some extra money.
