Hello guys,

I noticed a "bug" in the monaco track.
My drivers have numbers 5 and 6.
During the race (today), I go to pit when i was just before (2nd place for my driver 5) a driver who has number 25 or 26 (3rd place).
In the monaco pitlane, little numbers stop before large numbers.
So, my driver stops at the beginning of the pitlane and driver 26 stops at the end. When you look laps time (around the pitstop) between my driver and the other (with large number) , they is about 5 sec difference!
In the 2D race view, we can see it very well. My driver slows down very quickly, that's normal. But the driver 25 (and others) slows down later to drive at the pitlane speed limit. So my drivers lost time just because they stop at the beggining of the pitlane. I think the beginning of the speed limit is not at the right place in monaco track.

Look at my driver V Simon and driver number 26 A Aksamirski

Jack, do you hear that before ?
That's very annoying when you fight for win :)

Hi Marian, it's a well known bug and not a "prape" as your car is not violently blocked by other cars, and like you pointed it's due to an issue with the pit limiter. From my own experience at Monaco cars with very high numbers gain up to 2.5s per stop as compared to those with very low numbers, and while Monaco is the most obvious example, I'm pretty sure some pit limiters aren't in their optimal positions in other tracks too (but more for 0.5s). Another important point is the length of pits not exploited correctly for some tracks and which can lead for some of the problems Jason pointed.

If it's not already done I think pits need to be reworked in the future, at least for pit limiter and pit positions, that will help a lot to balance stops and give all managers equal chances.

That almost sounds like there is a defined distance from your pit box, rather than pit entry, that enables the speed limiter?

I don't know how it technically works Jamie :)

Jack, can you tell us if this "bug" will be resolved in the new release of iGPManager ?
