Driver DQd - tyres?

Hi,

It's just come to my attention that a driver was DQd in our Canada race a couple of nights ago.

It started wet with about 0.3mm of water and he started on inters like most of us. It had dried to 0mm for the first round of stops; I ended up using Meds and Hards for the rest of the race but this driver used only Softs for the rest of the race.

I look at the results now and I see he was DQd.  Why is this? We're a 2 compounds in the dry league but not only did he use 2 compounds, it wasn't a dry race.

Championship is tight and this manager is one of them so wouldn't want it to come down to this.  Cheers.

If it isn’t actually raining during the race even if there is ground water it is classed as a dry race hence the DQ.  Wets and Inters are not classed as dry tyres.  Looks like hewas the only one who set up as well.

What do you mean, only one set up?

You’re talking about Canada yes?  Ok so only 2 drivers in Pro did practice.  The driver who was DQ set up and everyone else was on mediums.  The other driver who did practice laps retired with suspension failure which means he hasn’t repaired his car for a number of races.  Everyone else finished between 3 to 6 laps behind the DQ’d second placed car or retired with suspension so clearly most did not set up or attend the race.

And in the following race Azerbaijan 3 drivers did practice. The third driver finished 2 laps behind the winner and everyone else retired with suspension failure so I doubt they have logged in for a long time as they aren’t setting up or repairing their cars.

I'm talking about the Elite race.  The driver who finished P4 was DQd.

Ok. Same reason for DQ then
