Java security issue : the solution

Hi, I've faced the same problem recently and here is a solution :
Search "java control panel" in your OS search engine, or "java" depending on your own language :



Then, go to the security tab and click on "edit site list", add the 2 subdomains as follow :



Now IGP and Jack have access to all of your passwords and hidden folders :)
In other words, the website is trusted enough and you should not have problems with java and igp now.

lol if jack would be so kind to send the rednote engine file to my computer & let me juice up my engine a bit I wouldn't mind ;)

You're right Kevin, I just noticed 2m ago you had the same idea before me, hope that will help people in trouble with the 2D viewer ;)

I was thinking there might be an exception to add somewhere, but I was too lazy to look into the Java control panel.

...and reseting the browser after doing that could be needed :)

Thanks! Downloaded that patch on the other thread but it didn't seem to do anything. This worked a treat though.

The Mac Java Control Panel is located under System Preferences. To launch the Java Control Panel on a Mac, please click the Apple menu and select System Preferences:



Double-click the Java icon under System Preferences:


The Java Control Panel will launch in a separate window:


From the Security tab, Sites http://race.igpmanager.com and http://www.igpmanager.com can be added to the Exception Site List.
