One of my pilots has a BMI of 18.5 I cannot train him any longer although the BMI number has not yet turned to green.

My other driver has a BMI of 18.6 (green)

Thanks for your support!

I wonder why no admin is answering. Do I have any disadvantages from not getting my driver into the green BMI section?

Have you got it set to physical, if not it will just randomly select an attribute to increase by one.

Sorry Hein, I missed this one.

Is your training still focussed on "Physical"? How many times has the training bar clicked over 100% without any more weight being gained?

I ask because I too have experienced occasions where the training bar reached 100% but no attribute gains even though there is room for improvement. For me it only happens very occasionally, it has been highlighted to the Devs but so far they have been unable to replicate the bug.

I will flag this thread for Support to review. Don't be surprised if they access your account to see if they can replicate the bug.

Wholly

Yes,thank you. Training was set to "physical" and stamina was already maxed out so training should have effected the weight but it did not.

And thank you, Kevin, for answering as well. It was exactly like you described. The training bar reached 100% but no gains were given. I've tried 3 times because first I could not believe but indeed my training points had just been wasted repeatedly so then finally I switched to another category to not waste any more training points. Maybe it happens because of some kind of rounding error? (The algorithm might "think" the category is maxed out although it is not or the category just does not turn to green because some calculated limit is not reached because of a rounding error? ?)

Hello Hein

We've discussed your situation with Devs and the Support team and indeed it seems to be a rounding error. The iGP staff say they will rectify the problem for you.

Perfect, thanks to you, Kevin and to the iGP Team!

I have the same problem, my driver's BMI is green but at 24. I'd like it to be close to 18 but the physical training doesn't work.

Hein.
I will once again raise this to the support team.

Sebastien
Unfortunately what you are experiencing is how it works. As soon as BMI falls within the ideal range weight reduction will stop. It is not possible to get your driver any lighter.

Thank you for your answer.
This means weight has no more influence upon the performance, only BMI does ?
Light is right as Colin Chapman said.

After the uproar from the community when it was turned on only for a few weeks. Driver weight has been turned off for most of the time I have played this game, as DD says, it was turned on for only a few weeks over a year ago.

BMI is a much better solution, it takes care of the fact you used to be able to train a female down to 46kg, which was 5kg less than a male and in any case a 46kg (F) / 51kg (M) 192cm driver is absurd.

Oops I didn't know this, thanks for the update.

I agree 1m95, 51kg driver was absurd. I thought I had to find a 1m60 driver to have a good BMI and light weight.
Now I know it doesn't matter.
Thank you all for your support, godspeed.

Is that rounding error solved meanwhile so that I could finally train my pilot to the green BMI zone? If not I would appreciate if you could manually fix my pilots stats.

Thanks so much! ??

I would like to add my experience to the thread:

I myself have a driver with 25 BMI (Yellow). I have been training his physical stats for quite a while now. Every single time a level up happens it's stamina. I got my L9 driver up to 23 stamina at this point, I can't recall where he started from, but I believe it was around 15.

Thank you for your input Aras but your experience is different and not a bug. The problem Hein has is the game won't train weight any further because BMI is 18.5 which is in the ideal range and once in this range the game will not allow any further weight adjustment.

However, the underlying value in the database is most likely very slightly under 18.5 (maybe 18.4999) so indicates as orange BMI instead of green.

This should be fixed now, please try again. If it isn't, I'll have another go at a solution, but it looked pretty obvious what it was in the source code.

Thanks so much, Jack. I'll check it out and will give a feedback here!

Update: Thread is closed unfortunately but does not seem to be solved. I could train the pilots physics now. But instead of gaining weight he lost weight when trained ? Still not in the green category though...
