As the title suggests really, I'm wondering whether it would be worth bringing a maximum set of each tyre to a race. My reasoning behind this is because I had considered moving to a 100% league, however it just appears to be no different to a 50% but longer, in the sense that the same tyre is used, but then instead of 3 pits, they pit 6 times.
I had also hoped to have found the use of the Hard tyre in longer races but no, almost always soft or super soft.
Could it easily be implemented where for a 100% race, you were given:
Super Softs - 4 sets
Softs - 4 sets
Mediums - 3 sets
Hards - 3 sets
And then for a 50% race, take away 1 set of each tyre, for example.

Great idea, but I think all the development is now going into the upcoming java-less version of the game
.
I hope the new version will enable use of hard tyres too.

I love your profile pic Simon aha, don't think Tjerk would say the same.
I think this is generally a good concept, though it would need to be optional when managing a league. We could have rules you need to use at least 2 compounds (Monaco would be stressful on softs, but I think the update might have ultrasofts anyway) or a maximum number of stops to be made. At Turkey, many people make like 8 stops which just isn't realistic so you could force people into longer stints on diferent tyres.

No I don't think the update has Ultra softs. I think Jack mentioned this somewhere, but I can't find what he exactly said.

Limiting the amount of tyres available would be nice.
I don't think it would happen though too many peoples would be complaining and the life of the tyres of each supplier would need updating for each race distance and track so that it would work well.
