Hello everyone!
I see that it's important noone to get any advantage of changing leagues, but now if you join an another league, you'll get a terrible car, which is worse than at the start of a normal season.
I think it'd be quite fair if you'd get a car as at the start if a normal season and that much DPs as you'd got from the developing field of HQs during the races which you missed.

I agree, sometimes when I'm looking for a new league I can't join because even after 1 race I know the car will be terrible.

Yes, I joined a league mid-season and a few races has passed I'm still nowhere near the pace. But I think the main problem is you lose a lot of money.

I very doubt it.  It’s a disincentive to prevent constant league hopping so has a place in the game.  It’s not hard to time join a new league in their gap between seasons.

the problem is not that it exists, but that it is surreally large, and indeed it is not easy to enter a league during the break, e.g. if there are 14 managers during the season, you won't enter, because due to the surreal compensation, you don't have any chance not to relegate, while during the break there are already 16 managers, including the promoted ones... and it may also happen that the season is long and you don't want to wait months

Maybe add a waiting list for leagues so you don't have to be online to join. You'll auto join as soon as the league season ends as well as fully removing joining mid-season.

Very few leagues have a full complement of active players. If you see a league you want to join, then send a PM to the host, most will wait until the break then kick an inactive account to make room for you.

I agree that joining late in the season results in a very uncompetitive car but the flip side is... If the design was high enough to allow you compete for points, thus avoiding relegation, you could potentially influence a title battle that has been fought over for weeks by a number of established managers.

The really good leagues are almost full, and what I didn't mention that it's hard to persuade anyone to join the league during the season (e.g. if you need them for promotion or just because you want to keep your league full, people not to leave), if he/she knows that he/she has no chance
