I've only just become aware that this was still happening. We were working on something in this area in the past few days but have not been on it today, I thought it was resolved!

I have a lot of questions before we can get to a solution:

  1. Have you tried clearing cache in the browser?

  2. Have you tried another browser?

  3. Have you tried another network? E.g. 4G instead of WiFi

  4. When you look in the address bar, is the URL https or http at the start? (you may need to click it to reveal this)

  5. What device / OS version are you using?

  6. What browser(s) are you using?

I still suspect maybe your browser has cached an error that was present. Here are a few potential solutions:

  1. Wipe the browser cache entirely, see if this fixes it (for Android phones go to Chrome and clear cache there and it will help the app)

  2. Try using a different browser or an incognito/private browsing window: This will help confirm if the issue is indeed due to cached data in the user's primary browser.

  3. Flush DNS cache (Instructions for Windows below):

  • On the taskbar search, type "Command Prompt."

  • Right click on Command Prompt and press "run as administrator."

  • When asked whether to allow Command Prompt to make changes to your computer, select Yes.

  • Open Command Prompt
Type the command ipconfig /flushdns then press enter

DNS was already flushed via Administrated Powershell

1: Multiple unassociated devices are experiencing this issue
2: Main issues are persisting on Game App only.
3: So such thing as WiFi :( . Wireless internet is not used for any connectivity with iGP Game server.
4: There is no address bar involved.
5: Win10 Pro (Peripherals are far in excess of coping with iGP Manager)
6: iGPManager PC app.

What else I have done:
Reinstalled the game, installed on another device, cleared temporary files associated with iGPManager.

This occurred at the same time the website was not reachable. Website came back within about 10mins but the PC Game application is still not working.
Upon launching game, the game loads all content as per normal. THen the splash screen appears a nd then becomes the following:

eventually it'll progress to the following:

Is it possible that the outage with virgin media this week has affected this?

Are you saying you're able to load the game/website just fine on your desktop browser? Or is it the same in all browsers? I thought it was the latter, but this quote threw me a bit.

If you're saying it's only in the desktop application but the website is fine then it is likely an issue with the embedded browser in the desktop application, so whatever windows would use to create a webview, which I think would be Edge in this case. Have you tried clearing the entire cache for Microsoft Edge?

Could you check what version of Edge is installed on your system?

Browsers (All) were initially not working/ They are now working.

The game app is the only thing that will not work (as in after launching this.....)

and then it goes to;

My friend spotted me trying to troubleshoot this. The app and website have the same issue, it's over-requesting, and it crashes due to infinite loop prevention. Please get this fixed asap. Cleared Edge cache but this had no effect.

How many people is this actually happening to? I haven't had any reports anywhere else.

We had a redirect issue yesterday, very briefly, but it was fixed. The fact that your browsers aren't showing the issue any more suggests the fix is working for you too. I am not sure what is going on inside the app.

If you run this in command prompt, what is the result?
curl -I -L https://igpmanager.com/app/uwv=1&appVersion=4.101&osPlatform=windowsplayer&osVersion=1&appType=standalone

When the above Url was put into the browser, you can see the tab icon flickering. This is because it was rapidly redirecting several times in succession.

Update: Going to do some digging on my end here. I was able to finally use my housemate's computer and she is unable to reproduce the error. Going to remove all information of iGP manager from my computer. Already re-removed again all cache files from all three browsers I use.
