So when was the last update that improved the game rather than unnecessarily make it worse? Right back to changing the number of laps from the actual number of race laps to a random number, changing tyre wear so some races now need 5 and 6 stops which is just ridiculous, every update has been pointless and made the game worse, who keeps deciding to intentionally make the game worse?

What do you mean by random number of laps? That’s ambiguous.

Well no it's not, the races used to have the same number of laps as the actual races do now it's just some random number at each race, Monaco is supposed to be, and used to be a 78 lap race then suddenly it was 59 laps, there has not been a single update going back to that change and maybe even before that improves the game for the player, most of the updates have been to fix the things that have gone wrong which were caused by pointless and unnecessary changes to the game which if anything made the game worse anyway. Whoever keeps having these stupid ideas needs sacking, every time one of these stupid and pointless changes are allowed to be implemented it is obvious from the forum that the players, your customers, are not in favour and neither wanted nor needed those changes, there are more and more people quitting the game every time the game gets messed around with proving that these stupid changes are counterproductive, this latest update was supposed to fix things that most people didn't know we're a problem yet has created problems that are blatently obvious, there is no logic or sense to continuously and willfully make things worse with the exception of the greed update that was blatently aimed at extracting more revenue

First of all the number of laps will depend on race distance, 100%, 75%, 50% or 25%.

Secondly, this is a formula racing game, not a F1 simulator. For licensing reasons the circuits are similar to the real ones but there are subtle differences. Lap length may be different which will result in different number of laps from the real F1 races.

Regarding revenue... what do you think pays for the servers, the network, game improvements and bug fixes? Do you do your job for the love of it and don't require paying? If so. and you're a top developer maybe you could offer your services.

I was referencing the number of laps on 100% race length, I am very capable of basic mathematics thank you very much but thank you for confirming that the devs care not about the customers and don't consider what the players want from the game to be important to them. I suppose there's some nonsensical reason for all the other things that have been made worse such as the tyres that could be delivered in the same rude, uncaring and flippant way as the other replies I've had but I have heard all I need to know, the attitude is we will do what we like regardless and the players can like it or lump it.

Not one reply has answered the question of when was the last update that actually improved the game rather than make it worse to play and break something that then requires another update that breaks something else? What's the point of having a forum if you don't care what the players think?

As for revenue, I run a customer service based business that relies on keeping my customers happy and if I was ignoring what they wanted while trying to extract more money out of them for the privilege I would lose more revenue through losing customers, that's just basic business sense. There seems to be a very insular mindset about how the game is being run recently, whatever or whoever changed this last year or so is definitely not for the better for anyone except them

You accuse people of rudeness? None of your insults and non-constructive feedback will change anything. At the end of the day, if you don't like the game there's an easy solution. I'll leave you to work that one out for yourself.

If the above post is indicative of your usual attitude... Customer service? You're in the wrong business.

BTW, for your information the data suggests there are more players since the update, I'm sure the Devs would be happy to accept one less.
