These guys , that intentionally run out of fuel suck. What is this , I suggest , that they be penalized, if they do like three times .  Like loose all of the power points ., Or something . It's childish . And un called for .

Welcome to the club.

I suppose there must be an hidden achievement for one-lap-racers.

Make it so the reward is only given if you finish the race. It’s ruining quick racing, currently.

Or better stop giving any pts for quick races.  After all it’s just another form of farming like those who race in leagues with one other manager (who sometimes are inactive).

Any connection between QR and League will inevitably end up being exploitable. So make QRs the fun element where you can just go and race on a level playing field against a set of random players (or friends in a private lobby) at any time of the day if you have half an hour to spare.

Entirely disassociate League and QRs, removing altogether any rewards that can improve your team or driver in league races.

Charge 1 token to enter a QR.

Each player is allocated a standard 100% health driver by the game and a standard design car with ideal setup. The way to win is have a better strategy and/or better race management. Ultimately it will boil down to race management because after a fairly short period people will have worked out what is the optimum strategy for each circuit.

Considerable effort needs to be put in to fixing some of the problems with QRs. The fuel/laps estimate has been terrible since an update years ago.

I agree.

I agree with Kevin too but the problem is iGP policy. You may need to swap engines, repair cars or heal your drivers (and so use tokens). Quick races have never been there to just be a fun element.

It's a loop, you are investing resources to gain driver's XP and a small amount of cash and this will degrade your engine/car/driver's health that you have to restore.

Isn’t Kevin saying that all the things like engine wear, Health deterioration etc should not apply in QR?

Yes, but I answered why it won't happen. Kevin's idea is great but iGP makes its money with engines, parts, etc...

For this same reason have been rejected many suggestions about a cap for the number of engines/parts during a season.

This is why I suggested...

Charge 1 token to enter a QR.

It put's the cost to the competitor up front instead of having to replace engines or repair cars after a QR. iGP loses nothing and players gain nothing compared to the current situation.

A suggest a better one imho. I’d like to make quick races more interesting and worthwhile taking part in. First of all we need it to be scheduled, for example, to have a new race every 30 minutes so only 2 races per hour or even less. The registration opens and there’s 5-10 minutes to set up a car and wait for other players, a race can’t be started if there’s less than 5 contenders. Something like that or similar, the reward is also need to be changed, for example, entry ticket is 100k and the winner takes it all and the loser has to fall, the winner could also earn for example  1/10 of driver experience points. So having something like that  we can gather more players at the same time and make it more valuable

All good ideas but what I am proposing is almost an iGP "Arcade Mode" where people can race at any time to suit them. No complicated registration requirements or time constraints and definitely no influence on the main League game in terms of rewards, either financial or experience.

Maybe a 10 minute wait for other players to turn up in a lobby, if less than ten cars then the game can pad the grid out with bots.

This type of racing could be a bit of light relief for experienced managers and for newer managers who are stuck in rookie leagues racing against inactive accounts they would have a way to practice and hone their race management skills by racing against experienced managers without the level handicap that they have in a league environment.

TBH, just throwing ideas about, I don't think there's much chance of anything happening in the foreseeable future.
