Here is the options found in the top left on the page:
You can either test each one yourselves or you can right click in the middle of the screen highlight Encoding & click on Auto-Select.
If you can view this field no problem then you should have no problem connecting to the race in iGP Open Beta.
After about 4 hours of trying this & that got an extra 14FPS
set pdfjs.enableWebGL to true
set webgl.force-enabled to true.
set webgl.enable-debug-renderer-info to true
set layers.acceleration.force-enabled to true
set gfx.direct2d.force-enabled to true
So now the mighty Firefox is spitting out 26FPS, it is just useless lol. well on my laptop it is anyways.
Internet Explorer does 30FPS
Microsoft Edge is 50FPS
This is all gobbledegook to me, but just tried it anyway... With "many" highlighted I got 29FPS on Edge and 9FPS on firefox... This is on a cheap and cheerful(?) Windows tablet. So, would these low figures explain why I haven't been able to view a race yet on beta?
Might be I would say iGP it pushing it out at 30fps the same as they are here with java.
But then it is setup for a fone don't think it would be running at 30fps
Everyone got a problem with firefox, while on me, firefox got the best.
With "many" highlighted, Firefox got 30 FPS
Internet explorer around 27 FPS
While Chrome got rekt :(
What browser has been the most reliable throughout for everyone. I have been limited to IE and Chrome so far, with no success to open a live race. I am going to try Firefox today, with fingers and toes crossed.
I have no issues in Chrome and Firefox. Wish I could test the game on my college campus but it seems they've got a firewall that doesn't let me get past Connecting to Server.

Grey screen means you have something conflicting with webgl or you have not enabled it.
Enabling WebGL:
Chrome
First, enable hardware acceleration:
•Go to chrome://settings
•Click the + Show advanced settings button
•In the System section, ensure the Use hardware acceleration when available checkbox is checked
Then enable WebGL:
•Go to chrome://flags
•Ensure that Disable WebGL is not activated
Then inspect the status of WebGL:
•Go to chrome://gpu
•Inspect the WebGL item in the Graphics Feature Status list.
If the status is not "Hardware accelerated", then WebGL will not work.
If your graphics card/drivers are blacklisted, you can override the blacklist. To override the blacklist:
•Go to chrome://flags
•Activate the Override software rendering list setting (you'll need to relaunch Chrome for any changes to take effect)
Firefox
First, enable WebGL:
•Go to about:config
•Search for webgl.disabled
•Ensure that its value is false
Then inspect the status of WebGL:
•Go to about:support
•Inspect the WebGL Renderer row in the Graphics table
If your graphics card/drivers are blacklisted, you can override the blacklist. To override the blacklist:
•Go to about:config
•Search for webgl.force-enabled
•Set it to true (you'll need to relaunch Firefox for any changes to take effect)
(Like Chrome, Firefox has a Use hardware acceleration when available checkbox, in Preferences > Advanced > General > Browsing. However, unlike Chrome, Firefox does not require this checkbox to be checked for WebGL to work.)
Safari
•Go to Safari's Preferences
•Select the Advanced tab
•Ensure that the Show Develop menu in menu bar checkbox is checked
•In Safari's Develop menu, ensure that Enable WebGL is checked
Opera
•Go to Opera://flags
•Search for Hardware Acceleration
•Set to enable
•Search for WebGL
•Set to enable (you'll need to relaunch Opera for the changes to take effect)
Thank you for the help!, I followed your Firefox advice and set everything to the options you mentioned. But i still see a gray screen. Does this mean i won't be able to play the new IGP?, In Firefox atleast. I'll bookmark this page and try a couple other browsers. But once the new IGP gets out of beta, would i be better off just using a tablet?
Firefox try setting layers.acceleration.force-enabled and gfx.direct2d.force-enabled both to true also see if it makes any difference.
You can also write a new boolean (right click & new) webgl.angle.force-d3d9 and set it to true but you will get blurred images like I do. :(
