Hi,
I am surprised that this is not the case already, I was sure there was certain blacklisting in place for certain words being used in the names of accounts/teams and drivers.
But can I suggest that it is done?
I have mailed this rookie team and advised if the name isnt changed I will remove them from my league, but being able to call your team C***y MC C**T FACE doesnt seem quiet right to me. It should be blocked by default.

Totally agree, it’s absurd this and other offensive teamnames are allowed. A blacklist as you say it, has to be done in order for a game to be able to expand.
I do understand the difficulties of this though, it forces devs to take a political stance in certain situations and they would need to draw a clear rule cause otherwise it only leads to controversy.
I think it’s high time for this to be looked at and at least a short blacklist of the most offensive words / names to be introduced in the short term
Yeah, I remember a league where someone briefly named their driver Ad*lf H1tl3r (his actually name spelt correctly).
If the Devs need any help with an NLP solution rather than if statements I'll happily help out
A report button could be nice but a blacklist is nearly always a bad idea...
First because dumb people will always find a way around it, number, special character, caps..
Second how do you deal with other languages than english ? Can't say bite because that mean d*ck in french ? Can cite the brand Nike ? or use "pros ans cons" because cons is a insult in french (plurial but.. still) ?
Also for names, what can you do about it ? there is still people named Adolf Hitler out there. That doesn't mean they agree with what happend WW2
for short : only thing ou can really do is a report button with human mod behind it

Ai can do beautiful things these days, but final decision should be human mod for sure
I don't consider the use of NLP to be AI as such. I never said the NLP should be the final answer, but it can be a tool to help reduce any noise. Human in the loop is mostly always the way to go :)

I totally agree. Just a matter of common decency.
