To hire a new pilot in the academy we need to pay up to 75 Tokens if I recall correctly, which are roughly 8€ in Tokens.
Considering that the pilot is trained by you in your academy, you should be able to see which traits the pilot has (common in urban, rare qualy, nothing...?), just out of coherence and logic.

If we just skip logic, the fact that you could pay for something that comes with a random trait or nothing at all feels a bit like gambling, which is a bit risky considering some countries laws.

Are there any plans to change this? Thanks!

Hey Tanis,

Thanks for your suggestion, no, there are no plans to change this. Since as in real life, it is impossible to know what special ability a promising young talent who has never made his debut has.

Hi José! I would say that very much you can tell if a young promise is good under wet conditions or does particularly well and usually qualifies better than the majority.

Last time it was technically problems..., and it would be good if you decided if this game is about reality or it's just a manager game for enjoying
Whatever, it would help a lot to see these things, and wouldn't that random as now and would be more enjoyable as well, and yes, you can see their strenghts, teams wouldn't sign them if they didn't know these things, if they now they're talented, they should know what their talent is...

So paying 70 tokens and you can't guarantee a special ability?  Lol ?

More like you can't know if it has a special ability. Is random, is chance.

You can add a special ability for 100 tokens

Guys, you need to check this. 100 tokens can't be random, so simples as that.
Driver is from academy but the only thing I can figure out is height, weight, name, gender (nowadays cant trust it 100%) and talent. Seems that I'm an absent father, don't even follow kids practice...I'm starting to wonder how do I know their talent? Maybe, if we are doing things random, talent should be between x-y and then you get what you get (then you would put a price on talent, like 50 or 100 tokens for each point). I think wages should be random as well, maybe if you unluckly got a weak driver it could bring you a lot of money and tokens, something like a Mazepin effect, don't know, just throwing ideas.
Now seriously, I really enjoy this game, there are somethings that could improve of course, but this last updates made it closer to a pay per win, and not being one was one of the good stuff in this game. I still don't accept that 100 tokens is a random thing, you win 3 per race, the best driver in the academy costs 70 tokens... If we want to follow the idea that you know nothing about the drivers you are developing and stick to reality, then you shouldnt have the option to buy a special ability - stroll and mazepins fathers have put a lot of money on them, they still dont have a special ability ?

If you forbid changing abilities, then the price of victory will increase. Those who can afford it will look for drivers at the academy, spending 10000 tokens until they pull out a legend from there..

This is actually factually incorrect.
