Live weather before and during race

Hi All,

Later today I have a grand prix coming up in the great britan, however just before I noticed the live weather was rain, so I had a question considering that it is raining before the race and likely to still be raining as the race starts (1 hr away), I was wondering do I have to put wet tyres on for qualy or will the game already perform that task?

You will need to set it. The game puts you automatically on inters

As Leo has said, you need to set your strategy yourself for wet racing.

League -> Next Race -> Select driver -> Adanced Strategy (bottom right).

Typically set after 2mm go full wets, and then when stop raining change to inters after what ever lenght stint you are running, or maybe longer.

This has to be set per driver, per race.

I should add, this means they will run one stint of inters, after which it will return to your default strat, which I would expect to be dry tyres.

You will probably then not be on the optimium tyre, as inters can normally be the better choice for more than one stint in a drying race, but its the best you can do for a race your not going to be attending.
