I suggest Sponsors should be automatically renewed.
Currently if a manager goes on vacation and can't log in to renew sponsors then they will be losing a lot of cash every race until they return. Some managers would have negative balance when they return and quit the game.

If you leave the league before a vacation, you will not lose any money. So there is a solution. Your suggestion I think is in essence forcing a management game to make an automatic management decision. So in my view it’s dumbing down the game

Sometimes something unexpected happens also. They have an accident, thier dog/grandma dies, they get sick.

Without automatic renewal they could return to an account massively in debt and it's months of effort to get back in the black. They just quit or have to start an account from scratch, wasting months of effort.

This game is having a hard time retaining managers or attracting many new players that play for more than 10 minutes as is. Make it easier on casual players.

Also leaving a league that is full causes other problems for the host when the player wants to return and someone else filled the spot while they were away.

It is up to the player to decide to start over, recover slowly, or whether it is worth buying the option to cancel the debt.

Alot choose "quit game" option unfortunately.

The cash management is already a good challenge for players. Requiring all players to login on a specific day every 20 races or face immediate financial consequences is not fun or management. Players should be able to manage the sponsors with changes taking effect next cycle or renew the sponsors before it expires like drivers and staff.

I understand many love the micro managing part of the game. No problem 👍. I believe the community is loosing players that like more the racing part of the game because it's too easy to be in a situation where you just can't be competitive because of financial issues beyond the normal challenges. I have no problem with the drivers and staff but you can extend their contract at any time.

What you are missing though is that sponsors come up right after a race has finished.  If someone can’t be bothered to renew immediately then they should expect to be penalised.

Maybe the game is losing managers who prefer the racing aspect, but who knows for sure.  Ultimately,  this is a management game with a racing element so the likelihood is that those who want a racing game will quit pretty quickly since there are much better alternatives if you are just interested in the racing aspect. As a game the racing aspect here is limited.  There are also not that many leagues that are full and those that are and are popular have waiting lists and would likely kick anyone who is not setting up their car regularly so leaving a league if you know you won’t be online for an extended period is probably the best thing to do.

Also auto renewal would disadvantage new players who won’t necessarily know who the best sponsors are and unless they are forced to renew they may well end up never looking at the sponsorship page or understand the implications of the choices (good and bad) you can make.

Things happen in life, that’s true (did you just say dog died = grandma died?)  but as Astro said, there’s a solution for that as well. Your alternative I fear would be to open up a constant flow of money and tokens without the manager having to do anything. So this opens the door for farming (big time).

The situation is they are not online that specific day due to unforeseen events and are off for some time.

People farming are going to keep farming anyway. The door is always open for that.

And what % are not going to be online on the specific day sponsors expire?  A very small % I would guess so why would the very dev team this game has go and change something that would benefit hardly anyone?

Anyhow, making it easier to farm is not the right solution

Over the course of 2+ years to reach level 30 for every player, not a small %.

If this is to prevent farming it is clearly not effective.
The benefits for everyone for auto renew is large.
Just trying to help everyone.... But whatever then
Peace ✌️

I think the root of the problem is in the system itself which is based on the number of races (senseless because of midseason retired drivers/staff). It should be on a championship basis. You obtain sponsors for that season then, when it ends, you are supposed to manually subscribe(confirm your team's presence in the tier) next season and repeat again if you are active.

This would help players to not have a huge negative balance and would prevent farming.

Farming cannot be stopped if a player creates another fake account and a private league.
