I am really looking forward to using the new iGP Manager once it gets underway next week (loved it during the open beta which I experienced) but on the flip side of the coin, I am going to miss the current version of iGP (its been like this since I signed up in 2013 so its definitly going to be a big change but an exciting one for the future personally of iGP) but there are a few questions which I need answering just to make my mind at rest.

If we have setups ready for our next race(s) which come after the cross-over period, will the setups stay the same? (as I know the setup system will be changed on the new version of iGP) & also will the strategy stay the same for which we have set)

Will I be able to play the game on a mobile browser on a mobile device and if so, will you be able to view the 2D viewer? (iPad, Android, iPhone) (I know the app is coming at some point in the coming months)

Are all the track characteristics and track statistics going to be changing? (i.e: qualifying lap record, race lap record, downforce levels, overtaking, surface elevations, fuel consumption & tyre wear)

Will all the rating levels and reputation stay the same or are they going to be removed/changed?

Will the finances which we currently have get moved across or are we going to have to start fresh at £50 Million? (As we did in Open Beta Testing)
Sorry if some of the questions are a bit obvious - just curious really as I only race once a week in my league and my next race is next Sunday and by which time, the new iGP will have come into play

Not a developer but I can answer a couple of these:
2. You won't be able to live manage races on a mobile device's browser. And if your phone does have the specs to do so, it won't be happy doing so. It'll eat up lots of battery and struggle to even display the viewer. I wonder if the timing view will be available?
3. From my experience, fuel consumption and tyre wear are the most notable changes in the new iGP. Track characteristics don't seem to have changed. It's more so race characteristics.
4. Rating levels and reputation will stay the same, they worked the same in beta as they do here.
5. Cash values will also stay the same.
As for your first question, that's the most interesting one. Although, it isn't that important. Just hold off on running your set up.

Well I was able to play the 2D viewer on my Samsung S6 during the closed beta. The frame rate wasn't very high (around 20 fps) but it was there. Not sure how this progressed during the open beta though.

1. Setups are totally differents and it will be no longer possible to load setups from previous seasons (at least the old style setups).
2. An app will be available Q4 for mobiles so you'd better to wait for playing on it.
3. Characteristics are the same but our design (downforce, handling) can suit them differently it's the main difference here. For records they'll stay but new cars will be faster.

Can you change the cars / dot size? The current game is cool. The more you zoom in the smaller the dots are in comparison to the track, but the beta the dots were 3 times as wide as the track and if you zoomed in, it only had cars. Personally I hate the car animation, even in the current game, so I've always used dots. Was easier to scale my movements.

Where can we find track records now?
The fastest qualifying & lap time used to be in the track info screen, but it's not there anymore.

Yes that tells us what we have done, but it doesnt tell use what the records are for each track, that we are trying to beat

I don't think that information is accessible at the moment, but it's coming. As I said in the other thread, one thing at a time. :D
Core features and balancing first, then the stuff that's nice to have.

hi jack just noticed on a couple of my teams my drivers stats have gone down from 19 to 14 how is this possible when it should all be at 19 were it was on the old igp. training them back up to where they should be will take me ages with the new training. so kinda sucks competing with half trained drivers when they were fully trained.

In other words there are too many records being broken at the minute that's why you are trying to slow us down.
Once you do add it can you have 3 timed records put into the information DRY, INTER & WET Tyre fastest lap times
