Make it mandatory that only level 18 managers or above are eligible for promotion to Elite.

Can be level 16 or 20 or whatever. You get the point. Set a minimum level requirement!

We have now level 12 managers being promoted to race against level 24+ managers. The problem isn’t new, this is a repost of old suggestion to set minimum to 14, back when we had 20 levels.

This change addresses the issue of managers moving too fast to Elite/being mauled by the competition, and also addresses the issue of chronically inactive Pro tiers by allowing active Pro managers more time to compete against a growing # of managers and to mature and level up to the minimum level required for promotion to elite.

I do get that feeling. I’ve posted probably 10 to 12 suggestions over 2 years and not the slightest feedback from devs

I have a guy in my League who has zero motivation because he is in elite at level 17 and simply cannot compete. There needs to be a new tier semi elite, you can't just add 10 new levels and expect it to work because it clearly doesn't.

In being around this game for ~ 3 years. I've noticed that devs don't seem to grasp how changes to one thing create a ripple effect to other things. So I agree with you. Refueling and new engine modes also created unwanted side effects to gameplay.

I was against the level 30 change. If I want a challenge, I would simply create a new account, or they can offer an account reset which KEEPS your management history but allows you to start from Rookie again. That would have been less disruptive to the balance of the game.

Instead of learning from these things, they continue to add things like gimmicky pay-for-driver-abilities. Whereas something as simple as setting a minimum level for promotion to Elite of, say, level 18 or 20 would have many positive side effects with very few downsides.

It's a never ending story bro, same with engines, they introduced them without any thought, then turn around and say we listened here's features you asked for that should have been standard from the start lol they are so insistent their way is the best without listening to us the paying customers.
