I witnessed some bs tonight, so far the league im in pretty tough, im in a league with one of the hall of fames legends well infact 2 but 1s not as active anymore. Myself and a few others are consistent enough.
However out of the last 3 races 2 have been won by drivers who i have never ONCE seen online active or even comment one even had 2 additional pit stops over 3rd place online legend. (Who is also 2/3 lvls) higher then said offline guys. Not to mention somewhat of a tactical genius.
What the f is going on? How can someone not active have 2 extra pit stops, less dev points over the course of the season and have drivers weaker come 2nd.... above someone like that?
When i did it it's bevause i had the best engine supplier in the game, or deffo top 10. Something is most definitely a foot.

HoF Legend does not necessarily translate to iGP Legend. Some of the strongest managers in this game are not even in the HoF top 100 because they are in very competitive leagues (difficult to dominate) which don't race every day. It is a mistake to think people high in the HoF should be unbeatable.
The all SS strategy employed by the off-line manager was clearly pretty good if AI managed to bring the car home in second place.
I see from your league wall that the person finishing third said he fell asleep part way through the race with 59% boost remaining. So not a huge surprise that one of his cars is beaten by an AI controlled car on a competitive strategy that would have used all the available boost.
Finally, the comment about the lower level manager having less DP across the season... Not necessarily, the lower level team would have higher research power combined with the possibility they may have been hoarding DP for many races and dropped them all before the last race.
