What did you try to do?
tried to race with a decent amount of fuel

What happened instead?
raced with a bafflingly ridiculous amount of fuel

Did the problem happen while using wi-fi, mobile data, or both?

Did the bug happen in the app, on PC, or both?

What operating system is your PC?
Irrelevant

Which browser did you experience the problem in?
Irrelevant

Can the bug be reproduced?
It can be reproduced simply by running default fuel which is an utterly stupendously nonsensical ridiculous amount.

Additional comments:
There's also a possibility that switching from main to alt to do setup has reset the fuel load for the main, but i can't really say for sure either way but I'm sure it's happened before.

            Have you tried clearing the Cache on your browser recently? Assuming that is what you are using and not the windows app. (If so the above applies but clear cache in the app instead of the browser)

There have been a few reports recently of strategy not saving but so far there have been no re-occurrences of this since clearing the browser cache, so difficult to find a cause.


Swapping between accounts can produce the occasional issue, if you check your alt does it have the fuel load you attempted to set in your main? If not, its likely that wasn't a factor.

The alt had over 200L of fuel.. it's probably the browser cache as you say or it simply didn't save for some reason. The main issue though is that the default amount is just too much. 5-10 liters over is a sufficient penalty, 40+ liters over is just bafflingly unnecessary. If the fuel load could be altered pre-race that would be help somewhat like changing to wet tyres while on the grid. 

The app clears the cache, or at least it's appearing to do so.. it will never finish and close i have to do it manually.

Checking the default fuel another NRF account I have (100% distance), it looks like its +20L over what I will need, FE is about 100. I think it was higher though when my FE was extremely low.

Any extra information you can provide on that? Is your FE in the normal range? Or is it super low. Anything that can help identify what your default was so high might be useful, I can't reproduce 40L extra at the moment.

Last time i was on default it was 40 over. (main). This next race setup, main account: FE 49, Practice rate is 1.99 x 67 laps at 133.33L, default fuel is 178L. 44.67L over.  

Alt is FE4, 168.88 from practice rate, 195L default. 26.12L over.
