Ads Off Op Or Child Friendly?

My child has started playing iGP with me. Some of the ads are encouraging gambling, and a lot contain violence and/or sexual elements. It would be ideal if these free ads could be either turned off, filtered or at the very least be made age appropriate.

My suggestion is make him use the mobile app, no ads on there

There are ads on the mobile app.  It’s the pc version which doesn’t have them (or at least that is how it is for me on iOS).  
Anyway game is supposed to be suitable 9yrs+ but the ads are not appropriate for this starting age so something is amiss with current system.

iGP Terms of Service III(b) states:

Thank you for pointing that out.

Sounds like iGP needs to be giving out a consistent message. As far as I know those TOS are pretty much unchanged from when I started playing in 2015. There was no mobile version back then, the game could only be run through a browser, so no listing on the App Store and of course, no Ads.

I'll escalate the mixed messages to the Devs.

While I don't give a hoot about the teens or kids playing the game, what intrigues me is some of the more sexually explicit ads, advertising games you can get from the App Store, crafted in a way to appeal to teens or young children.

While Apple likely has no control over the ad network/supplier the in-app ads come from, the fact these ads are advertising such games targeted for a vulnerable demographic is insane — is Apple really letting games like this onto their App Store?

You are right, it is insane but nobody seems to care. Sadly it reflects the state of the world and where it's got to. ☹️
