Is there a reason I can't purchase staff or drivers on auction?

When I go onto transfers, I can see drivers or staff and the countdown timer.
When I click on any, there isn't any timer (just a clock followed by ...), and the Bid button is greyed out.

Yes, there is a permanent VPN in place

That’s causing the incompatibility.

Is there any coding workaround from your side?

The only thing I can suggest is to disable it as mentioned above.
