Pitstop glitch

What did you try to do?
When you pit behind someone, the person infront seems to gain a lot of time, happens most pitstop. So frustrating, then having to waste boost to catch up

Yes - happened many times

Additional comments:

This is a well known bug to occur, it appears to be a lot stronger the closer you are, and as goofy as it sounds, until patched, a way to negate the issue is allow a minor gap to the car ahead when pitting, perhaps if you know you're pitting on the same lap, go to push level 1 out of the final few corners to keep back around half a second and it shouldn't be very common.

Thanks for the advice, I’ll have to try that! Just one guy in our league, just before the pits, he’ll boost just infront of you so it happens 😂
