Getting rid of pop ups during race

Once you click on a a car iron during a race, the details pop up in a small window. How can you hide that and go back to normal view?

Press ESC, assuming you mean how to unselect a car and get back to the default view.

At the moment the information about the currently selected car cannot be hidden, if this is what you meant.
