If you buy a driver when it is offered and you use him until his contract runs out, when he is no longer apart of your team does it allow other people to buy him? Or is he teamless until you sign him back into your team?

I believe that in theory, the driver could be pulled onto the auction house at anytime if they are without a contract. Should this occur, anyone could purchase them while they are on auction.
The contactless area is not free driver storage.
However if you are the drivers only previous owner. You would be the only one who can re-sign them directly from the no-contract zone.
