I'm more or less suggesting for us to upload custom liveries to the game, as right now the liveries look, well, really bland. I would suggest having a system in place so as we can upload custom liveries that were made using Photoshop etc. into the game. Heck, you could even create a whole new market to monetize using tokens by allowing us to sell such custom liveries too. It would be a nice small update, but I hope yall would consider it.

My concern with custom liveries would be people misusing the function to display inappropriate images / material. We already get inappropriately named drivers and teams.

Copyright could also be a potential problem? Rules on that can vary greatly.

While I would love to see this happen, but I don't see how it could be done properly without having resources in place to monitor it.

In the spirit of developing the idea. Lets say the system was put in place. But you have to wait while the livery verified as appropriate. (by staff, volunteers or similar).

You have to pay tokens to submit the livery, but if it is judged inappropriate you lose those tokens. And risk sanctions to the account at the same time. Would you be happy with controls like that in place? Even if waiting times got very long due to volumes and it could take weeks for a response.

I mean, I would be down for it. Altough, instead we could have such people who can create their own liveries be required to go through an application process, like a volunteer mod! That way, we can guarantee that only trusted people who know how to create such liveries are allowed to create and share them, while creating an incentive for those who successfully applied to prevent uploading inappropriate stuff, and saving the mods more time!

If we were to allow custom liveries. I think it should be gated behind levels. So if someone did make something obscene or inappropriate then it would have a punishing consequence.

Or they could create more livery styles and put them in the shops so that you will have to unlock them with tokens and they monetize more

I mean, they could, but what irks me about the current system is that all the cars have zero personality, and basically all look like My Team default cars. Custom liveries can allow us to create more unique styles without needing the devs to work overtime to create better designs, and can make more realistic looking cars that have sponsors, albeit fake ones.
