I hate having to wait for a new sector to see my gap to the car in front, changing the update rate is something I think would be great and useful for us all

Hard no from me.  This is one of the irl parts of the game that needs to stay on here.  You are basically asking to increase the number of sectors per lap.  I think that would decrease the strategic part of the game to setup and wether you decide to push button smoosh, or not.  The use of boost, now, is in part a judgement call as to wether you think that you are far enough in front or behind somebody to take advantage of DRS.  If you add more sectors, that judgement call becomes a certainty, thus negating boost as a tool of strategy.  Thus making the game even more of a procession.

Didn’t think of it that way, makes a lot of sense now. Thanks!
